disguised as a poem
or a story
or some other bit of so-called “creativity.”
In this day and age
we gossip via

the archaic Information Superhighway
because you can talk shit about someone and
Call it “Art”
Call it “freedom of speech”
Call it “creativity”
Disguise it as a dressed-up bit of
Prose
But everyone knows
You hate him, and he hates her, and she hates you and we hate them and
Blah….blah…blah…

Keyboard gangsters!!
Let’s BOLD everything.
Let’s italicize all of it.
Let’s “fight” dirty and go ALL-CAPS.
Let’s pretend it’s all in the name of creativity and
Exploration
when you and I already know its
Exploitation of
YOUR HALF-WITTED GRASP OF THE
written word.

I have always preferred being told
(if you’ll be so bold)
That I’m not liked or
not well received…

I’ve not been deceived.
It’s neither here nor there.
I simply don’t care.
